Case Study: NFC-based Material Check

In this project, a full solution with mobile app, backend and frontend was built so employees could start the material check directly via NFC card. The goal was maximum clarity with minimal input effort.

Initial situation

The material check needed to be started quickly, clearly and with as little manual input as possible. At the same time, documentation had to become traceable and available for evaluation.

Solution

The solution included a mobile app, backend and frontend around an NFC-based process start. The app loads the correct logic immediately, guides the user through the steps and synchronizes the results for reporting and traceability.

The project combined mobile app, backend and frontend into one operational system. NFC triggers the workflow start, while the application guides the user through the process and stores the results in a structured way.

That reduces input effort, prevents avoidable errors and creates a cleaner data base for later review and reporting.
